Welcome!

We are interested in researching reactive and non-reactive flows with heat transfer and unifying concepts from science, mathematics, engineering and computational algorithms. Our work spans applications across disciplines like aerospace and mechanical engineering, fire dynamics and computer science. The interests and expertise of the lab members are broad: We simulate low speed to high mach number flows, across small to large length scales, and we are also interested in rarefied flows, granular flows and reactive flows in extreme conditions such as detonations. Many different numerical strategies are employed, depending on the problem, and we often create our own methods. Please browse the research section for a list of ongoing projects; however, the rule of thumb is that if it moves, or there is energy transport involved, it is likely that we are interested in it.
